Study and work, at any stage.
From an English course to a master's degree — all on the student visa (subclass 500), which allows up to 48 hours of work per fortnight while the course is in session.
Before you choose a course
Every course below is eligible for the subclass 500 student visa, as long as it is offered by a CRICOS-registered institution — which is how you confirm a course accepts international students.
Work covers part of the cost, usually shared housing and food. Flights, visa, OSHC health insurance and settling in are fixed costs, so programs shorter than about 24 weeks are proportionally expensive.
